For those of you who don't want to miss out on 4th of July celebrations while in Hong Kong,
Here is what is going down this weekend.

Special 4th of July Feast @ Jinjuu

4th of July weekend is celebrated by Korean-American Chef Judy Joo and her team at Jinjuu with a weekend brunch from 2-4 July which will include dishes such as Baby Back Ribs glazed in a gochuchang BBQ sauce (at HK$50 additional charge), served with Asian slaw & corn salsa, as well as Gangnam Style Hot Dogs topped with caramelized onions, kimchi and sesame oil mustard. All-time brunch favorites will of course remain available at the appetizers buffet, including Jinjuu’s famous Korean Fried Chicken and Make-It-Yourself Bibimbap. The full weekend brunch is priced at HK$400, and includes an appetizers buffet, a choice of main and dessert platter. For those who opt for only the appetizer buffet, it will be HK$280.

4th of July Weekend Barbecue Brunch & Hot Dog Eating Contest @ Lily & Bloom

Only available on 2 & 3 July, get your checkered napkins ready as Chef Billy Otis serves up a hearty smoky food feast featuring American style barbecue favorites. Think about all you can eat finger lickin’ sticky American Ribs with adobo sauce, Baked American EggsButtermilk WafflesMini Chicago Style Hot Dogs and more. This mouthwatering feast is available for both brunch and dinner with brunch priced at HK$395 + 10% per person and dinner priced at HK$480 + 10% per person. Don’t miss out - reservations are a must to guarantee your spot!  

The party doesn't end for the folks at Lily & Bloom -- 

On July 4th, a special “food truck” on the 6th floor will be serving up mouthwatering American street-food all night long. Expect Mini Deluxe Hot DogsTruffle & Bacon Mac ‘n’ Cheese and Bone Marrow & Bourbon Onions Wagyu Sliders. At 8pm a HOT DOG EATING COMPETITION to see how many hot dogs you can chow down in just 2 minutes. The lucky winner of the contest will win a HK$1000 bar-tab.

“Biggie Smalls & Meatballs” @ Posto Pubblico
3rd July - 12pm-late 
HK$500/head or HK$900/head to attend both Posto Pubblico + Linguini Fini

On 3 July only, Posto Pubblico presents a red, white and blue twist to its ever-successful “Biggie Smalls & Meatballs” nights. With DJ Mike Darling, aka MOD, spinning some Biggie on the decks, enjoy the music while sipping on free-flow Peronis, Bellinis, and homemade wine coolers. Enjoy in breakdance battles between b-boys and b-girls. The buffet-style menu features Caesar Salad and Caprese starters, and a ‘Build-Your-Own’ Sub station main. Customize your own Chicken Parm Sub, Italian Sub, and/or Meatball Sub, and end the meal on a sweet note with Posto’s delicious New York-style Cheesecake. If you feel like checking out Linguini Fini’s event next door, add HK$400 to Posto’s entrance fee, and enjoy both parties for a discounted price of HK$900.

Capturing the true spirit of America in the form of barbecue, hard lemonade, and ‘American as F**k!’ t-shirts, head on over to Linguini Fini for an extensive buffet menu that features Dirty Water Dogs, Pizza (by the slice), Burgers, Wings, and also guest stars Little Burro’s famous tacos. Sides include all the American fixins’ - Pasta Salad, Potato Salad, and Corn on the Cob. The Tavern is ready to welcome 4th of July celebrants with a unique spread of its own. Parents, here’s an Independence Day Party you’d want to take the little ones to. Featuring a kiddie pool, face painting station, magic show and balloons galore, your kids will no doubt have a blast while you get...well, blasted. Adults can enjoy a free-flow of PBR’s, Lynchburg Lemonades and Chris’ Twisted Tea for HK$199/head. The BBQ menu, which consists of every classic American grilled food you can imagine (think wings, hot dogs, and more), is priced at HK$359/head. After the kids exhaust themselves playing, they can join the adults to indulge in an all-you-can eat and drink feast at only $150/head.
