Whether you're spending this long weekend with friends or family,
here are our favourite places to spend Easter and eat your days away. 

The Optimist’s Easter Brunch
 - Those staying put over the Easter holidays can enjoy The Optimist’s extended brunch from Friday 25 – Monday 28 March.The Spanish-style brunch is the perfect hangout with a market buffet, sharing tapas and mains and desserts favourites brought to the table (starting from HKD348). Add HKD180 for free-flow prosecco, sangria punch, Spanish wines and beer. Brunch is served from 11:30 – 3pm.

Jinjuu’s Funky Modern Korean Easter Brunch - 
The good people at Jinjuu present a Funky- fresh semi-buffet brunch experience, served from 12pm to 3pm for HK$400 per person, which also includes a main course and dessert. ($250 for semi buffet only & $200 per child) with the option of free-flowing Louis Roederer Brut NV Champagne and house wines for an additional $200. The menu encompasses both traditional and contemporary fare, guests can choose from an enticing array of starters from the appetiser counter, which includes stations for kimbap, fried chicken, seafood, soup, salad, bagels, and even a ‘make your own’ bibimbap. Main dishes include Korean favourites such as Bulgogi Fillet Steak with Grilled Vegetables and Straw Potato, Iberico Bossam Pork Belly, and Kalbi Jjim USDA Short Ribs, to name a few. Vegetarians, you aren’t forgotten - join the party by opting for the Grilled Seasonal Vegetables served with Tempura Shimeji Mushrooms and Yuja Aioli. Whilst this brunch will be available on the weekends on a regular basis, available only on the 26th and & 27th is a scrumptious candy corner will be set up for the little ones to indulge their sweet tooth. Adults will receive an Easter egg containing a prize – and whether it’s a complimentary dish, drink or special discount at Jinjuu, it’s for you to find out. Kids under 8 years old eat for free, and all attending children will receive a chocolate egg.

The Butcher's Club
- Enjoy a special Easter Southside Market Long Lunch on 27 March, from 12pm – 5pm. The delicious Easter lunch menu—which will satisfy both meat lovers and vegetarians—includes a whole spit-roasted rosemary and black olive lamb, barbecued hanger steak, Easter ham served three ways, vegetarian frittata station, various chickpea-, quinoa- or roasted root vegetable- based salads and, of course, a dessert station. Along with The Butchers Club’s special Easter-themed menu, there will be a number of hand-selected partners, including wines by Links Concept, Lavazza coffee, Peroni Beers, Print House, GDG Asia Pacific, Rebel Girl’s vegan doughnuts, Tai Tai Pie Pies, Nathan Solia Bootcamp, Deliveroo, Southside Magazine, The Loop and many more.

There will be live music performances throughout the day, competitions and drinking games for the adults. For the little patrons, expect endless entertainment including an Easter egg hunt, face painting, an Easter egg painting booth and Egg & Spoon Races, as well as a mini cinema downstairs on the 16th floor for kids looking for a little downtime.

Tickets are priced at HK$550 per adult and HK$250 per child (free entry for kids under the age of 8), and can be purchased through both Ticketflap and The Butchers Club’s Online Store.  Patrons must purchase a ticket to attend the Southside Market Long Lunch, which will give them unlimited trips to the cooked food stalls and complimentary beverages all day.

A Rummin’ Easter Brunch
 - Join the fellas behind Rummin’ Tings on Easter Sunday, 27 March for an All You Can Jerk Easter Brunch with live music, featuring 2 hrs of an all you can eat Jerk Platter, Chicken, Prawns, Lamb, Pork, Veggies with free flow Caribbean Pimms, beer, wine ($398) or free flow Champagne, beer, wine (HK$588) and some special Easter Treats.

The Eggcellent Easter Brunch
- Lily & Bloom celebrates the festive season with a proper American spread, on offer from 11am to 4pm on 26 & 27 of March, available downstairs at the restaurant. Both kids and adults can make a day of it with special Easter egg hunts for all ages with one lucky guest winning a year of free meals at Lily & Bloom. All for only HK$395 per head, Chef Billy Otis’s specially crafted treats are to-die-for and heavy on the eggy side, including Baked American eggs with organic kale and mushroom ragout with pancetta and fresh chives, Carbonara with Japanese egg yolk, fresh herbs and Parmigiano Reggiano and Rustic avocado mash with French style scrambled egg and crispy bacon to name a few. Guests can also devour the Chocolate custard with whipped mascarpone and toasted coconut semi-freddo with cherry compote. Brunch will be arranged with a carving station of Australia Wagyu Chuck Eye-Roll Roast Beef from the Rangers Valley served with horseradish cream sauce and red wine peppercorn sauce. That's not all folks, Lily & Bloom also boasts an omelette station with four kinds of eggs from duck egg to Japanese eggs to American eggs and quail eggs making Easter brunch even more EGGcellent! Opt for free-flow bellini’s, bloody Mary’s, beers and boozy milkshakes for an additional HK$195, whilst the kids play in the dedicated kids playing area on the 6/F. Brunch at Lily & Bloom comes in two seatings with the first being from 11am ~ 1pm and the second from 1 30pm ~ 4pm, bookings are advised. Just for fun, two separate Easter Egg hunts will happen. Kids will scavenge for chocolate Easter eggs on the 6/F, whilst one lucky adult will win A YEAR OF FREE MEALS at Lily & Bloom on the 5/F.

- check out the buffet style starter stations, which offers fresh-cut salad, home-baked pastries and croissants, cold cuts, cured seafood and salmon just to name a few. Guests may swing by the cheese station to create their own platter and enjoy in fresh baked pastries with home-made jams. Chef Edgar has also hand picked a range of sustainable raw seafood, which comprises of tuna, hamachi and scallops for our guests to create their own raw delightful ceviche. Don’t miss out on the egg station, where you can request your eggs to be cooked just the way you like; request for anything from from scrambled, 65-degree sous vide to hard boiled to delicious omelettes, which are prepared ‘a-la-minute’ by our chefs. Main courses include signature Australian Aged Wagyu Skirt with Shiso-Churri, the irresistible Baked Angel Hair Pasta with Seaweed, Roasted Garlic Aioli, in Prawn Jus, Pork “Presa” with Smoked Piquillo Peppers and more.  

Dessert is what really excites us here, with the interactive Easter Chocolate Eggs station. There will be 3 types of chocolate eggs with white, milk and dark to serve, and guests may add their finishing touches with their preferred foams, ice creams and endless toppings. Remember to try our signature desserts including the Chocolate and Hazelnut Delice, Dulce de Leche, Coffee Sponge, Whisky Curd and Catalan Cream Foam -- yum! 

Easter brunch will be served only on March 27th, 2016 from 11:30am ~ 2:30pm, and it is priced at HKD 580 + 10% service charge. Free flowing package of Ruinart Champagne, red and white wine is also available for an additional HKD 320, and a second free flow option of Bloody Marys and Beer for HKD 280.

 - This Easter, load up on lots of delicious classics from the Flying Pig’s a-la-carte menu, such as a 4 Egg omelette, scrambled egg on toast, a traditional english breakfast, pancakes, or even some eggs benedict. A Family Easter Brunch at Fish & Meat
- Starters here include a wide variety of fresh sustainable Baywater Wild oysters and other shellfish, organic salads and a bruschetta station. The starter buffet includes Yellowtail ceviche with citrus, spring onion and pickled sweet chili, Shaved butternut squash with dates and pumpkin seeds, Mango and curried chickpea salad with baby spinach and cauliflower, just to name a few.  

For your entree, choose from a Pan roasted Norwegian salmon with green peas, asparagus, fennel and mustard sauce; Slow cooked lamb shoulder with lentils and mango chutney; Whole roasted French baby chicken with saffron butter run, risoni and braised greens or Pan-fried Barramundi with pancetta and mussels.  They even have a homemade Smoked Salmon with toasted brioche, poached egg and horseradish. For the desserts, their Ultimate chocolate cake is definately going to put you in the Easter mood (or a delicious food coma, but what's the difference really?). This cake has layers of chocolate ganache and is decorated with chocolate shavings on top. To top it all off, they will have a Buttermilk Pancakes station, be festive and personalize your pancakes with toppings such as fresh berries, sweet vanilla cream, maple syrup, fresh cut mango, crispy bacon bits and homemade caramel sauce. Easter brunch will be available on March 27th 11:30am to 2:30pm.  
HKD 390* per person and free flow drinks packages are also available. Kids under 11 years old will get to enjoy a complimentary Easter brunch**. The Chop House Easter BEAST FEAST!
- Portioned for two to enjoy (but not limited to it, bring 10 friends if you want!) This beastly feast begins with two bowls of creamy, spring-laden Carrot and Coconut Soup. served with a Warm Loaf of Bread, fresh-baked with a beautiful, crispy crust and butter on the side. Next up is a tray filled with a mouthwatering sight: thick-cut Roasted Beef Fillet, succulently delectable and beautifully seasoned. Half a Roasted Chicken flavoured with a zesty combination of honey, fresh herbs and lime. An all-time classic in the form of the Rosemary and Garlic Roasted Lamb. A fat and delicious pair of premium Pork Sausages. And the unmissable Roasted New Potatoes with Lemon and Sage (there’s also a slightly less “beasty” side dish of Chargrilled Cauliflower with Fresh Tomatoes, Dill and Capers, mainly for balance.) For dessert, the Chocolate and Caramel Dessert Board features Peanut and Chocolate Cubes, Macadamia 4-Spice Brownies, Chewy Chocolate Cookies, Caramel Crunch Slices, Chocolate Streusel, Crunchy Meringue and Chocolate Custard - *drool....

And the good news doesn't stop there  - The Easter Beast Feast (for a minimum of two guests) is served at the unbelievable price of just $198 (+10%) per happy diner! The little ones can enjoy in a junior feast with Mini Burgers and Fries, Spaghetti and Meatballs in Tomato Sauce with Fish and Chips and tartar sauce, priced at just $98 (+10%) including a glass of soft drink or juice for each little tyke to enjoy.

Pirata’s Easter brunch
— Available from 25-28 March, Pirata’s Easter Brunch (HKD298) includes a lavish antipasti buffet of colourful salads, a selection of cold cuts, roast beef and lots of Italian cheese. Guests can then tuck into classic Piatti Piccoli dishes, such as M.M.M (My Mamma’s Meatball’s) a house favourite of pork and beef topped with tomato sauce, basil and olive oil, light and fluffy Asparagus Flan and comfortingly cheesy Fried Mozzarella Sandwich.
The highlight of Pirata’s Easter brunch menu is the oven Roasted Suckling Pig. This melt-in-the-mouth pork and delightfully crispy crackling is served as a starter with a sharp and sweet apple sauce. The feast doesn’t end there, chose from a choice of mains, such as Papardelle with Duck Ragu, Tagliatelle with Summer Black Truffle and Eggplant Parmigiana. No brunch is complete without free flow drinks. For HKD180 guests can choose from Strawberry Peach Bellini’s, Lychee Martinis, wine, prosecco or Asahi to unwind into the afternoon. For the little ones - a kids menu of antipasti buffet followed by a choice of M.M.M (My Mamma’s Meatball’s), Fried Mozzarella Sandwich or Tagliatelle with Beef Ragu topped with fresh tomatoes.
