FASHION WATCH: Top 3 Luxury Temporary Tattoos

24 July 2015

Coachella, Ibiza, Burning Man, Glastonbury…Festival season and this summer has seen a real trend for luxe temporary tattoos replacing jewelry for the stylish fashion lover.  Move over crudely drawn butterflies and flowers and imagine glistening gold, silver tribal patterns or graphically designed links, which look like necklaces, arm bands, head bands, bracelets or any type of body jewelry.  With the launch of designer handbag brand KOTUR’s Insignia Collection, we take a look at this trend and our current favourite brands that encapsulate this gorgeous trend.

HK founded brand KOTUR has a massive celebrity following for its gorgeous clutches. A familiar on the red carpet, look ahead in the future summer days for celebrities to be using the newly launched KOTUR Insignia Campaign. The Insignia Campaign differs from most due to the the large statement designs consisting of intricate detailing in gold, silver or black.  Think of it as taking the place of wearing jewelry.  The designs are spectacular and one offering is definitely reminiscent of henna designs.  Another has large gold and silver snakes that can wrap around your neck like a necklace or even a bracelet round your arm.  Either way, all the designs will complement this season’s KOTUR bags.

Each piece costs HKD350 and are available in the Sogo KOTUR store in Tsim Sha Tsui.
