Next up on our 'New & Notable' radar is FIGARO - a place for wine lovers of Hong Kong to relish the French wine culture and lifestyle in the heart of Soho. This newest addition to the ever-growing dining scene, off of Hollywood Road, offers trés chic ambience, a unique gastro-wine bar, fine food, fine wine, and great vibes. Figaro is spread out over 2 floors with a bar on the ground floor and a casual restaurant on the 1st floor.
Borrowing its name from a centuries-old romantic hero created by Pierre Beaumarchais, the story of Figaro began with two Mediterranean foodie friends, who had big appetites and even bigger dreams. Of course, opening a restaurant didn’t come without its difficulties and pitfalls. The biggest challenge was to make authentic French cuisine accessible to a new and larger audience, without skimping on quality.
